BC Offshore Schools
Global Education offers BC online courses for students attending BC Offshore Schools. Global Education is the only Ministry of Education and Child Care approved provider of online courses to non-resident learners attending BC Offshore Schools. Our online courses meet the learning standards of the British Columbia curriculum.
All courses are taught by BC certified teachers, who are experts in delivering the BC curriculum. Global Education strives to provide the highest quality, interactive and engaging opportunities and assessments that are suited to the individual needs of students.
Credit for courses may be awarded equivalency credit by an Offshore School. The Offshore School is responsible for awarding equivalency credit for online courses taken with School District No.73 Business Company.
Credit for courses that cover the Graduation Program that meet the graduation requirements can only be given by an Offshore School, Board, or Independent School Authority following equivalency review by the Offshore School, Board, or Independent School Authority that the student is enrolled in accordance with the Graduation Program Order (M302/04) and applicable Ministry of Education and Child Care International Student Graduation Credit Policies. Students attending a BC Offshore School can register for online courses with Global Education. We offer both asynchronous and synchronous courses to students at BC Offshore Schools.

2 + 1 Pathway Program
Global Education is the only approved Ministry of Education and Child Care provider of online courses to non-resident learners. Global Education offers online courses, that may be eligible for equivalency credit toward a BC Graduation Certificate. All courses are taught by BC certified teachers, who are experts in delivering the BC curriculum. Global Education strives to provide the highest quality, interactive and engaging opportunities and assessments that are suited to the individual needs of students.
Global Education’s 2+1 Program prepares students wishing to study at a British Columbian secondary school. Students register for BC online courses during their Grade 10 and Grade 11 year while studying in their home country. Students complete their Grade 12 year in a B.C. Secondary School. Students receive may equivalency credit for online courses once they are enrolled in a high school in British Columbia.
Equivalency credit may be awarded by a Board or Independent School Authority. The B.C. School District is responsible for awarding equivalency credit for online courses taken with School District No.73 Business Company.

Students registered at a B.C Secondary School are eligible to register for BC online courses while living outside of Canada. Our courses blend interactive online courses with face-to-face support in student’s home country. We offer both asynchronous and synchronous courses. Credit for courses may be awarded equivalency credit for online learning courses by a Board or Independent Authority. The Board or Independent Authority is responsible for awarding equivalency credit for online learning courses taken with School District No.73 Business Company. Preparation Online Courses
Global Education’s High School Preparation Program prepares students wishing to study English at a Canadian high school. This foundational program prepares students for the academic challenges of Canadian high school. Students study subjects such as Social Studies, Science, Mathematics and English. Our classes will help familiarize students with the basic English vocabulary necessary for the comprehension of high school subjects.
High School preparation courses are non-credit courses.
Our courses blend interactive online courses with face to face support in student’s home country.
Foundational courses are taught by experienced BC certified teachers.
Teachers meet with students once a week for live video lessons. Students will communicate with the students via email, video lessons and other means of technology assisted learning. Students are supported by a Teacher Assistant in their home school.

Our courses blend interactive online courses with face to face support in student’s home country.
ELL courses focus on reading, writing, speaking and listening activities. ELL courses are designed to prepare students for English 9-11. ELL courses are taught by experienced BC certified teachers.
